Ahead of Saturday's crunch EMC Autumn Test against New Zealand at Murrayfield, (5.15pm) Edinburgh pair Mike Blair and Ross Ford spoke exclusively to www.scottishrugby.org

Blair, who will be captaining his country for the 14th time this weekend, said: “The All Blacks are an absolutely quality side and we are going to have to be right at the top of our game, matching their skill, enthusiasm and intensity, to be able to put us in a position where we can win”.

Hooker Ford, who wins his 41st cap on Saturday, stressed the importance of starting well against a side who have been playing phenomenal rugby recently, and said that the team has been focusing on producing an intense start to what will be a fast paced game. “I think it’s going to be a massive challenge, but we are up for it,” he added.
