TWO WEEKENDS OF TOP-CLASS RUGBY

Now our exploits in the Magners League are temporarily put on hold, it is time to switch our attentions to our European adventure and the double-header against English giants, Bath – starting next weekend down at The Rec (Sunday 13 December, kick off 3pm).

Former European champions, Bath are currently bottom of Pool Four, but boast an impeccable pedigree in the competition. On our previous two competitive visits down to the Spa city, Edinburgh have been thumped 55-26 and 17-10, although we won down there last summer in a warm-up game.

Can the men in Black and Red qualify for the quarter finals for the first time since 2004? Our Heineken Cup campaign will be determined by the two results recorded over a fortnight containing two blood-and-thunder Anglo-Scots clashes.
