After scoring two tries from the opening two matches, flanker MacDonald missed the match at Ulster after falling victim to a virus, but he is confident he will be fit enough to return for the visit of Brian O’Driscoll and co.
MacDonald said: “The games we have had so far have been very different in terms of the challenges we have faced and the opposition we have played. I think this week will be another different type of examination for us as a team and a difficult one at that because they were European champions last season and they will be very difficult to beat.”
