First club you ever played for?
RC Hilversum. I started playing there when I was nine until I was 16 when I joined Newcastle Falcons.
First position you ever played in?
Scrum half I think. Then when I moved to England I played in the back row for the first two years and then I became a winger at Falcons when I was 19.
First time you thought you would play professional rugby?
When I got snapped up by the Falcons Academy in 2004.
What was your most memorable try?
On my debut for Falcons, I scored the winning try against Worcester
Who has been your most difficult opponent?
I found it quite hard against Alesana Tuilagi of Leicester; he is a big lump!
What is your greatest ever achievement?
Becoming the first one in my family to make it to University. I am studying Business Management at the moment.
Where was your greatest ever holiday?
Two years ago when I visited Croatia with my girlfriend
What is the greatest film you’ve ever seen?
I thought Transformers was amazing
Last CD or download you bought?
Alain Clark; he is a Dutch R’n’B singer, but he is getting more popular in the UK now.
What is your favourite ever CD?
Dr Dre: 2001, that is legendary
Best stadium you have ever played in?
Twickenham. I played there in the Middlesex Sevens a few years ago.
Best aspect about moving to Edinburgh?
The fact it is a capital and there is a lot of energy around the city. I am going to live a bit outside the city in the countryside, but I really like what I’ve seen so far.
Who has been the biggest influence on your career so far?
My Dad (Marc Visser was captain of the Netherlands team)
What is your main hobby away from rugby?
I love playing Halo on the XBox
Who is the worst dressed player at Edinburgh?
I would put Steve Jones. He looks like a 15-year-old boy sometimes.
