Allister Hogg, Craig Hamilton, Roddy Grant, John Houston and Jim Thompson have all been added to the 33 players originally selected for the Scotland training squad as the teams prepare for the Bank of Scotland Corporate Autumn Test against Australia at Murrayfield on Saturday (kick-off 5.15pm), and the Scotland A match against Tonga on Friday 20 November at Netherdale (kick-off 7.30pm).
Meanwhile, Scotland team doctor James Robson confirmed that scrum-half Mike Blair (ankle) and No 8 Johnnie Beattie (groin) would miss today’s training following injuries they sustained against Fiji last Saturday. Neither is giving concern at this stage.
