On behalf of Currie Rugby Club I would like to thank Ben Meyer and Steven Lawrie for attending our Rugby Mini Tournament on 26th April 2009.  We had 500 boys playing rugby from Biggar, Boroughmuir, Edinburgh Academicals, Madras, Perthshire, Stewart's Melville, Stirling, Ayr and Watson's.  We had a great day even the weather was kind to us. This year the Currie Mini Teams have made some great progress being able to field 2 teams at P3, P4, P6 and P7 age groups and producing our best performance yet in reaching the final in all age groups. Well done to all finalists and many congratulations goes to our P3 Ambers, P5 team and P6 Ambers who won their trophies in great style and our P4 Ambers and P7 Blacks teams who were runners up.  A resounding success, which meant that Currie MINIS won the Overall Team Winner trophy.
