I was going to send you an email today to thank you for setting the visits up and allowing the guys to come into the schools and talking to the kids – it went down really well!!

I spent a bit of time with the group at Stenhouse PS and the kids were really excited, asked some good questions and the guys were more than happy to chat about anything and everything! I then had to leave but the teachers said the practical session was really good and the kids responded really well to them.

I then met the group at Dalry and stayed with them for the entire session.  Again the kids asked some really good questions and the guys had a lot of fun with them. We then went out to the playground and played some fun games – I’ve since had kids and teachers asking if they can come back cos they enjoyed it so much!  I wouldn’t mind having them back also!

It was good that the players were able to hand out their playing cards and take time to autograph them – its nice that the kids have something to take away with them.  I cant think of any way to make the visit better other than more time!  But that’s maybe just me!

I will be in touch once the schools get back from the holidays about taking them along to a game – I’m sure I’ll have a few interested in going!
