To mark our second home game of the season in Europe’s premier rugby competition, the Heineken Cup, edinburghrugby.org continues our new Dream XV series where Edinburgh supporters name their favourite ever team consisting of players they’ve seen wearing the famous jersey.
This week time around, former captain and centre Scott Hastings has picked his team – consisting of players he either played alongside or has watched wear the jersey.

Who make YOUR all-time team? In order to get involved with Dream XV email your line-up of legends – both past and present – to info@edinburghrugby.org with the title DREAM XV. The overall winner will get the chance to meet their favourite all-time player at a home match.
Remember supporters are encouraged to buy tickets early for the next home Heineken Cup Pool match against Bath (Saturday, 19 December, kick off 1.35pm). Remember AnyGame vouchers provide fans with great value (£15 instead of £20 admission for Adults) and enable you to beat the match day queues, so call 0131 346 5180 now and reserve your place.

Scott talks us through his favourite line-up and why these players have been chosen to represent his DREAM XV.

15 - Bruce Hay – My brother Gavin played for the Anglo Scots, so Bruce is in from Boroughmuir; a real Edinburgh hero and enthusiast both as a player and coach
14 - Simon Webster – A flying machine. Well, I had to include at least one current player and this guy loves looking for the ball
13 - Scott Hastings – Had to pick myself didn't I?
12 - Sean Lineen – Best man to my kilted Kiwi. The former Boroughmuir boy liked to party
11 - Mike Debusk – A true club man from Boroughmuir and I also played Scottish Schools with him. Not the fastest player around but played with a heart of gold

10 - Duncan Hodge – At his best, he was a true Watsonian and an Edinburgh great
9 - Douglas Morgan – He was involved for Edinburgh as player and coach for many years and always gave 100%
1 - David Sole – Former Edinburgh Accie who loved the fast free flowing game and instrumental in Edinburgh and Scotland Grand Slam triumphs
2 - Kenneth Milne – A hugely talented and clever 'Hooking Herioter'
3 - Iain Milne – He’d sit on me if I did not pick him but no one budged this 'Toe Nail' around
4 - Nathan Hines – Pure grit and a good foil to his second row partner; which one would get a ticking off from the referee first?
5 - Jeremy Richardson - Edinburgh Accie and former Scottish Schoolboy 'hard nut' of a second row!
6 - Jim Calder – This man from Stew Mel was a great reader of the game
7 - Fin Calder – The best captain and a late pick for the late developer from Stew Mel, who is better looking than his brother, just like myself!
8 - Kevin Rafferty – He read the game brilliantly and loved a good kicking, a favourite 'Nail' from Goldenacre way!
