Dear Lindsey & Andrew,

On behalf of everyone at Maggie’s Edinburgh Centre I would like to thank you both and all at Edinburgh Rugby Club for your support.  We raised £256.35 through the bucket collection on Friday 12th January and the publicity for the sideburns and getting the players supporting the charity has been amazing!

Thank you both for organising the two opportunities and thanks to Geoff and the two Simons for being such good sports but please also pass on my thanks to everyone who showed their support and raising such a fantastic amount!

Your support really is greatly appreciated, both by ourselves and the thousands of people who use Maggie’s Edinburgh each year.  An average of 80 people a day drop in to the Centre for a cup of tea and a chat with one of our Cancer Information & Support Specialists, for an appointment with our Clinical Psychologist or Benefits Advisor, or to attend one of the many courses designed to help people live with, through and beyond a diagnosis of cancer.

All our services are provided free of charge to centre-visitors and, as we rely totally on fundraising to both build and run our centres, we really are most grateful indeed for your continued support.

If you are ever near the Centre please pop in and say hello as would be nice to thank you in person.  This invite is open to anyone at Edinburgh Rugby who would like to come and see what they have been supporting.
