THE TEAM

2007/8 saw some very real progress both on and off pitch, and 2008/9 is set up to be one of the best yet.  With World Cup winning coach Andy Robinson at the helm, and some of Scotland’s young stars really starting to prove themselves, the team has high hopes to improve further.

2007/8 saw famous wins in the Heineken Cup over Leicester and Leinster, plus some great wins on the road in the Magners League and some rousing performances at home.  A tough pre season awaits the team, but they will be working hard to deliver the same exciting brand of Rugby.

MATCH DAY ATMOSPHERE

The crowd numbers rose dramatically across 2007/8 and your Club has a number of initiatives to keep this momentum going.

There were some great crowds at the Castle in 2007/8 and the noise contributed to a great match day atmosphere.  Combine that with the post match in the Presidents Suite and some further initiatives for 2008/9 – and you have a great day out.

We will be introducing a permanent area for Under 18’s on match day in the stadium.  Pre match this will include all manner of activities to entertain the younger of our fans.  More details to follow but this is a key support for our great value Junior season tickets.

Top 5 Leader board

When you recruit a “new” or “lapsed” season ticket holder to join Andy’s army, make sure you let us know.  Over the summer, there will be a Top 5 leader board online showing who has recruited the most season ticket holders.  The Top 5 at the start of the new season will each win a great day out at a home match – including pre match hospitality and a signed shirt presented by the team captain on the day.

One lucky season ticket holder will win a trip to join the team on a Magners League weekend – including airfare and hotel.  You only need to recruit 1 to be in with chance – so speak to your friends today!!!

Partner Benefits

As the Club generates partners, we will be looking to pass benefits onto our season ticket holders.  We plan to release these across the course of the season.  To start off – check out these below –

• Festival Inns – each season ticket holder will receive 2 for 1 meals at a range of restaurants (from the start of the new season)

Regular Insider Communication

Your monthly email will provide insight form those at the heart of the Club.  This is a new initiative but one which we hope will allow you to feel as close to the Club as is possible.  We will be asking for questions and for input. 

 “I’m IN”

Send a picture of you holding your “I’m IN” Certificate to us and we may use the photo in our ongoing summer promotions.  Full details will be with you once you sign up – but we will be posting pictures of anyone who is “IN” online over the summer as we build the Club….

The further afield the better – get creative….
