Edinburgh Rugby Club travelled to Bath on Friday 31st August for the second of their pre-season challenge matches. Bath was a different challenge for the team from their match against Tonga but however, one that was vital in match practice in the lead up to the Magners League which kick offs away to Leinster on September 22nd Henry Edwards Interim Head Coach stated ‘’the pleasing aspects of the match was the defence, however, the was a number of individual errors not to cause the Bath defence any real problems, we would be looking to rectify this before our next challenge match against Viadana." Edwards added ‘’with two good tries in the second half from John Houston and Academy Player David Blair and being able to rotate the players plus coming away with very few injuries was pleasing."
