Edinburgh players Calum MacRae and Marc Teague were on hand last Thursday to hand over a framed jersey to mark the club’s associate partnership with Dalkeith.

In the club house at Eskbank Road, President Harry Graham and Honorary Secretary Martin Ross were present alongside captain Sean Nelson to receive the framed shirt.

Edinburgh chief executive Nic Cartwright said: “Over the past year, we have established some great relationships with Rugby Clubs across our region and beyond.

“We continue to work hard to deliver benefits for both parties.  The shirt presentations we are making to our Associate Clubs help us to show our commitment to working with clubs and to achieving success together. 
 
“We have had a good number of clubs take part on our match days to date, and there will be even more when we face Leinster in our first Heineken Cup game on 11 October.  We have just announced that every adult purchase gets up to four free kids tickets when bought in advance, and we are aware of a good number of supporters already buying.”
